Step 1:
Apply and Join Path2Teach
Complete the online application, Upload transcripts and eligibility documents and Receive acceptance and officially enroll
Step 2:
Complete Your Online Training
Begin flexible, self-paced coursework, Learn effective classroom strategies and instructional best practices and Get feedback and support from experienced educators
Step 3:
Start Teaching with Support
Transition into your own classroom as a paid teacher of record, Continue program requirements while teaching full time and Receive ongoing mentoring and coaching from Path2Teach advisors.
Step 4:
Earn Your Teaching License
Pass state licensure exam(s) and Celebrate becoming a fully licensed educator
Once you connect with your Personal Program Advisor, they will walk you through these steps and develop a specific plan for your certification journey.
You must have completed or be in the final stage of completing your bachelor’s degree with the requirements below:
- Earn your certifica2.5 GPA minimum posted on official degree conferred transcript, ortion without putting your life on hold.
- 2.5 GPA minimum in the last 60 semester hours of course work attempted
- Students in their Final Semester* of obtaining a 4-year bachelor’s degree can enroll on a contingency basis
- Graduates from outside the U.S must complete all portions of the TOEFL iBT and submit a course-by-course evaluation to be considered for admission
After submitting your application electronically, have all your official transcripts sent to transcripts@PATH2TEACH.org
